None, excellent condition
This particular Lloyd Loom piece is from c.1950 and is very much of its day. It features an added 'gold spray' effect which appears to have been a common trend. Genuine Lloyd Loom furniture is still made in England today, however early and mid 20th century style Lloyd Loom items such as this remain popular for their 'retro' quality.
Lloyd Loom is an identifiable craft process invented in the early part of the 20th century by Marshal Burns Lloyd. It soon became extremely popular in the U.K, inspiring a whole generation of furniture makers during the art deco period of the 1920s and 30s. The process involves weaving twisted paper and wire on a loom to form a strong material from which furniture can be made.
