The WALL WALKS the FELL

The film shows the importance of dry stone walls in the county of Cumbria. How, why and when they were built and their continual use, both as a necessity to farming and enhanceding the beuty of the landscape and protection of the environment.

Several present day wallers are featured and describe how they become involved with the art of dry stone walling.
