Atelier Van Lieshout

The Rotterdam-based artist Joep van Lieshout is best known for his engaging but enigmatic containers that draw comparisons to mobile homes, office units, deprivation chambers, wash basins, toilet homes or sturdy shelving units.

This pocket-sized catalogue beautifully reproduces many of Van Lieshout's sculptural and architectural works and was published on the occasion of exhibitions in New York, Chicago, Winnipeg and Los Angeles in 1996. Includes a text by Wayne Baerwaldt.
