Trout Book

Scottish angling sketches collected from the "Tam Tain" column in the Evening Dispatch. The author gives us the benefit of his fishing experiences and experiments, including diving into a pool to see what floating objects look like from the trout's point of view, and banging stones together under water to see what it sounds like. "Tam Tain", almost certainly a pen-name, is the name of one of the Kilsyth Hills, just north of Glasgow
